the guy i was talking about going casual with was “joking” around and yelling things to me like “ you were so desperate, if anything it was charity work.” like wtf, i said “if there’s a chance of this working lemme know. yes or no. i don’t want to hit on you if i know this isn’t gonna happen.” i don’t know which part of that came off as begging??? like holy shit. He’s the same kid from middle school, he’s just an asshole who doesn’t understand that throwing “it’s a joke” at the end of something doesn’t make it any less hurtful. joke or not, that just isn’t something you say. he just doesn’t understand that there are lines you don’t cross, like have some human decency.
